Footy Buckets is a Son & Mum team dedicated to salvaging old, damaged & unwanted football shirts and transforming them into one-of-a-kind bucket hats.
At our core, we believe in sustainability and upcycling. By utilizing old football shirts that would otherwise go to waste, we aim to reduce the negative impact on the environment caused by fast fashion.
We started transforming old shirts at the start of the pandemic in 2020, we salvaged unloved shirts from local charity shops and online sources. Each shirt was then given a new lease on life through the upcycling process, resulting in a fashion-forward and sustainable piece of clothing.
We understand that each hat is personal and individual to each customer, which is why we also offer a bespoke service. If you have a shirt you want to send us (it can be any team or sport) we would be more than happy to 'bucket' it for you.
